Meredith + Cole | Highgrove Wedding

Meredith and Cole are seriously the sweetest! Like the saaaaah- weetest!! When Dave and I met them at their engagement session, we talked about how well suited they are for each other and that they have the most tender way of looking and interacting with each other. We were so excited to start off our wedding season with their wedding at the Highgrove. It was an absolutely gorgeous spring day and Meredith was positively glowing! We were honored to be a part of it!

Meredith and Cole, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your big day! It was such a pleasure working with you both and we hope to work with you again in the future! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

Ashley | Trenton, NC Bridal Session

The one thing I hate about doing bridal sessions is that I have to wait so long before I can share them with the world! Ashley and Joseph were married a couple of weeks ago, so I am finally able to share the images I took of the beautiful and sweet Ashley last October. Ashley chose three super cool locations for her bridal session and it was so nice to be able to do some shots that were out of the ordinary. Ashley was actually the 5th woman in her family to wear her wedding dress- how cool is that?! Every bride has given the dress their own “update” to make the dress their own but they have been able to pass down this heirloom from bride to bride. I think that is pretty amazing!:)

Megan + Alan | Oak Island, NC Engagement Session

Sorry the blog has been so quiet lately! Big things happening over at the Parker household as we prepare to move out of our house this weekend and look forward to moving into our new house the first of June! We never knew the selling and buying a house was going to be so time intensive! While I have been able to keep up with our normal editing, the blog has fallen a bit behind! Bear with us!:)

Dave and I had the pleasure of traveling down to Oak Island the first weekend in March to photograph Megan and Alan’s engagement session! We had been looking forward to this session for a long time and we so enjoyed our time getting to know Megan and Alan a bit better before their wedding at Highgrove next month. Megan and Alan were so cute during their session and I loved to see how easily they laugh together! You can really tell that they are best friends, and Dave and I know from experience that being married to your best friend is the BEST!! Enjoy a few from our time on Oak Island!
