For those of you that know me, I have been working REALLY hard and developing my photography craft since Griffin was born. Over the last year, I have upgraded equipment…twice… participated a few different workshops… stalked blogs on a daily basis taking notes on where I aspire to be… and dreaming endlessly of the day...

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of taking pictures of this little beauty, Ellie. The weather was pretty gloomy outside so we stayed indoors for most of this shoot but were able to get some some great shots. Aren’t her eyes amazing?
Dave made me promise that I would wait until Griffin was at least one year old before I cut his hair. Around 8 months, it was driving me crazy but over the last few months, I have grown attached to Griffin’s “surfer do”. Even though it was sad to see it go, it was starting...
