Meet the Johnson girls! I had a session scheduled with this family a couple of months ago during that week in early November where it seemed like a monsoon all week long. We attempted the shoot indoors in their home, but we just could not get enough natural light to create the type of photography that I prefer. The mother was kind of enough to allow me to reschedule the shoot, and we were finally able to coordinate our schedules a couple of weeks ago for beautiful day in the park at Duke Gardens. It was the Sunday after it snowed so it was cool to get some shots with the melting snow on the ground. Their coordinating coats were A-DORABLE! I have to admit, I was a little nervous seeing those cream colored coats walking into the gushy, muddy gardens (I ruined my new running shoes because sinkage), but miraculously, they were able to escape relatively unscathed!
