Meet Lindsey and Graham. They are getting married next October in Goldsboro, NC and Dave and I are honored that we will be photographing their wedding! We got together a couple of weeks ago to shoot their engagement portraits at a pond that holds special memories for them. It was a very amusing shoot because Graham had never had professional pictures taken before so it took him a while to get comfortable. Ok, I take that back… he probably never got comfortable but he was a very good sport and humored us when we had an idea and he even contributed a couple ideas of his own. Lindsey and Graham are such a sweet couple and you can tell by the way they interact with one another, that they are best friends. They couldn’t have picked a better spot for fall engagement pictures! They picked Peacock Pond which is a private pond that is used for Boy Scout meetings/outings and Graham and Lindsey have spent a lot of time together there. It was such a neat little place with a pond and dock for fishing, and little covered kitchen shelter that had picnic tables and a hammock, and of course a campfire area. Beautiful light + changing fall leaves + a beautiful couple = HAPPY TARA!![]()

Before we called it a day, I asked Graham and Lindsey to humor me and head over to a soybean field across the way. If I were in there shoes, I would probably think to myself, why does this crazy lady want us to take some pictures with soybeans but I think that it really paid off. I love the how the yellow coordinates so well with Lindsey’s orange jacket. Loved it!!

Lindsey and Graham, thank you for being such good sports! We had a lot of fun working with you guys and can’t wait for the wedding day! It will be beautiful!
Lookin’ good Linds and Graham!
Tara,
I’m so glad you and Dave were able to come shoot our engagement pictures. I LOOOVE THEM!! I think that was a good warm-up for Graham in prepping him for wedding day pictures; haha! I can’t wait to see you again for the wedding portrait! Hope all is well!
Love,
Lindsey & Graham
hella stella!
These are lovely Tara! AND I LOVE the soybean field shots! We have tons of them around here too and I keep thinking how lovely all that yellow would look in a picture. Now you’ve given me the push to drag someone into one of the local fields! : ) Thanks!
