Lindsey + Chance | Durham, NC Wedding Photographers | The Cotton Room
I felt an instant connection with Lindsey the moment that I met her. I am not sure if it is her personality, how she loves her family, her being a social worker or what, but I knew from the beginning that she felt like a kindred spirit. After shooting their engagement session and seeing Lindsey + Chance together and hearing about their relationship, I knew I liked them both even more and I couldn’t have been more excited for their wedding day! Lindsey and Chance were married in May at The Cotton Room in downtown Durham, NC. I loved how Lindsey and Chance pulled in little details throughout the day that meant something to them, from their favorite colors, to scrabble tiles on the tables, to the way they used the first bottle of Charles Shaw wine that they shared together to hold the flowers on their sweetheart table. The day was personal and totally “them”.
I loved these antique forks that were engraved with their wedding date! Beautiful!
I also loved Chance’s scrabble tile cufflinks that were his initials!
I am totally in love with the new bridal getting ready room at The Cotton Room! The light in there is gorgeous!
Lindsey’s mom looking on proudly as her little girl was getting all dolled up…
I know I have said it before, but I will say it again…. I LOVE FIRST LOOKS!! It is just so nice to be able to document a quiet moment between the bride and groom before all of the craziness begins!
Lindsey was cracking me up with her styling of Chance’s hair when she thought we weren’t looking! We caught her perfecting Chance’s hair three different times before the ceremony! Haha!
Lindsey and Chance signed and spoke their vows to one another and it was a very emotional and touching moment.
Lindsey + Chance also shared a special moment with Chance’s daughter as they offered her a ring as well to symbolize the union of their family.
Seriously?! Lindsey, you were a STUNNING bride! And your groom didn’t look so bad himself!
Tre Bella did the florals for the wedding and they were simply beautiful!
A little pinky promise that they wouldn’t smoosh cake in one another’s faces…
Chance saying goodbye to the other lady in his life before Lindsey and Chance left…
It was a truly beautiful wedding, Lindsey + Chance! We wish you the very best and hope we get to work with you again in the future!!
