Alex + Preston | Highgrove Estate Wedding

What is better than a day of shooting at the Highgrove? Shooting a beautiful wedding with a stunning bride and groom at the Highgrove! Dave and I had the pleasure of shooting Alex and Preston’s wedding on a beautiful day in June. We first met Alex at a bridal show during the spring of 2011 and I knew as soon as I met her, that I wanted to shoot her wedding. As they planned their wedding, I followed Alex’s pins on Pinterest and I knew that I was going to love the style of the wedding and the actual day did not disappoint! Alex did such a beautiful job of pulling together such and soft and romantic day and I think that it was a day that will be remembered for quite some time! Not only was the wedding beautiful, but the reception was SO much fun! The dance floor was hopping all night long (thanks to Jason of Island Sound) and Alex is my very favorite kind of dancer- full of excitement and awesome facial expressions!

I was very impressed with Preston’s card that he made by hand for his future bride!
I LOVE this next shot! Lots of times the guys are better at the “funny” shots but the girls rocked this one out! LOVE IT! Alex and Preston made C.D’s for all of their guests for the wedding favors and I just loved the presentation. Flowers on Broad Street did an amazing job on the florals, as always! ๐Ÿ™‚ How cool is this cake?! Swank Cake did an awesome job of pulling off Alex’s request of a rainbow layered cake! It almost looked too pretty to eat! I bet you will never guess what song was playing during this next image! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thank you so much for allowing us to document your big day, Alex and Preston! It was an honor! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness! ๐Ÿ™‚
