Tory and Ben were married the end of September at Forest Creek Country Club in Pinehurst, NC. I was so nervous while Dave and I were driving down that morning because this was a day that the entire state of North Carolina was covered in rain storms and Tory and Ben were scheduled to have an outdoor ceremony. When I arrived at the venue, I immediately got out my phone to check the radar to see what was in store for weather and there was what appeared to be an alleyway through the middle of the state from east to west that went right over Pinehurst. Storms everywhere to the north and storms everywhere to the south but it was clear as a bell right where it needed to be! Tory and Ben had a beautiful ceremony overlooking the golf course and we finished just in time before the rain began. The rain put a damper on our plans for pictures following the ceremony, however nothing could put a damper on this day. Tory and Ben were surrounded with so many friends and family members that very obviously cared for them endlessly. Tory’s sisters could not have been any sweeter as they shared in their youngest sister’s wedding day who they fondly call “punk”. Their toasts to their sister were so sweet and it was so nice to learn more about Tory through their heartfelt words. It was a joy to be there!![]()

Thank you so much, Tory and Ben, for allowing us to document the beginning of your lives together! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
Andrea + Robert were married on a beautiful Friday in late September! The week before their wedding, it seemed like it was a monsoon in the entire state of North Carolina so I was so thankful when the weather cleared up just in time for their big day! There were a number of things that I loved about Andrea + Robert’s wedding day. First, both Andrea and Robert are chefs so they had a number of wedding details that incorporated their love for cooking such as a personalized cutting board that they used as a guestbook. I also loved that they had their entire wedding party wear Toms, including the bridesmaids. There is nothing this lady (me) loves more than a pair of super comfortable shoes!
This was also our first TRI-lingual wedding! Robert is Jewish and Andrea’s family is Puerto Rican I believe, so the wedding ceremony itself included Hebrew, Spanish and English! Don’t even get me started on the amazing salsa dancing that was going on the reception! It made me want to learn!! Please enjoy some of my favorites from Andrea + Robert’s big day!![]()

Oh gosh!!! I don’t have words to express myself! Thank you for making these beautiful memories for Andrea and Robert, and for us, those who are family and friends. We were very lucky to be a part of this wedding, and yes, coming from Puerto Rico, all our joy, happiness and love at being a part of this great day has been perfectly captured in these pictures. Do you travel down to our island so I can have our family picture taken by you? Please let me know!!
Having been at this magnificent wedding, I have to tell you that I think these photos do an AWESOME job at capturing the essence of the event: the love shared by all and the happiness we all felt for Andrea and Robert. Thank you! I hope that when my daughter gets married you are able to travel to Florida!! lol
I have enjoyed shooting the Kristiansens for over three years now. It is always fun photographing Ms. E and Mr. S because my two boys are about the same age as they are so I always know what to expect developmentally and behaviorally!
Haha! I have to say though, the Kristiansen kids always put the Parker boys to shame. My two boys never sit and smile for the camera as sweetly as Ms. E and Mr. S. do! It has been such a pleasure to watch them grow up and I look forward to next time!![]()

Morgan and Tim were married on a beautiful September day at Highgrove in Fuquay-Varina, NC. Their whole day was absolutely stunning! The florals done by Blossom Florist out of Pittsboro were absolutely breathtaking! Morgan and Tim met in law school and I knew that a lot of their law school buddies would be attending the wedding. Before arriving, I think I had in my mind that it would be maybe a serious and “professional” type of atmosphere with a lot of lawyers in attendance but let me tell you… young lawyers know how to have themselves a good time! They kept the dance floor packed throughout the reception and a great time was had by all! Morgan was a classic, elegant, and simply stunning bride! There was something about her on her wedding day that reminded me of Snow White and I think I fully expected to see little birds chirping around her shoulders with bunnies dancing at her feet! Haha! She was gorgeous! (Tim you weren’t too bad yourself!)
Enjoy!
