Erin + Tim | The Highgrove | Fuquay-Varina, NC

I can’t tell you how much I love Erin and Tim! Their relationship reminds me so much of my relationship with Dave! We met up together to eat sushi the week before the wedding and I laughed at how Tim would excitedly tell me about all of his little plans for the wedding day including many different Star Wars details, and Erin would just sit next to him, smile, and shake her head quietly. I feel like that is how Dave and I operate on a daily basis! Haha! Erin and Tim are one of those couples that I wish I could stick in my pocket and take home with me because I just enjoy being around them! Erin and Tim were married in October at The Highgrove in Fuquay-Varina, NC one of my VERY favorite wedding venues! I loved editing this wedding because you could see in the way that Tim looks at Erin and the way he smiles at her that her loves her endlessly and she loves him the same. Tim is a big Star Wars fan and I loved the tiny Star Wars details that were strewn in throughout the day. We had Darth on the garter, Star Wars cufflinks, and an R2D2 groom’s cake. We even allowed some of the Star Wars characters be to be guests at different portions of the wedding day. It was a lot of fun! I also have to call attention to the GORGEOUS florals by Flowers on Broad Street! Erin’s bouquet is my absolute favorite bouquet ever and I just couldn’t stop taking pictures of it! It was stunning, but not half as stunning as the bride that was carrying it! Congratulations Tim and Erin! We were so thrilled to have been your wedding photographers and we wish you the VERY best!

Cassie’s Bridal Portraits | Durham, NC Bridal Portraits

I am so excited to finally be able to share these! One of the worst things for me about bridal portraits is that I have to wait so long to share them so that no one sees the bride’s dress before the big day! Cassie was finally married on the beaches of Kitty Hawk, NC over this past weekend, so that means I am finally in the clear to post these beautiful bridals. Cassie and I met up back in early March at The Cotton Room in Durham, NC. The Cotton Room is definitely one of my very favorite venues in the area. I love photographing in a location where there is so much character from all of the wood floors and brick walls, but I am also ABSOLUTELY in LOVE with all of the natural light from all of the big amazing windows in the room! Cassie was a lot of fun to photograph because she was so laid back and was up for anything that I suggested. It was so beautiful to see her get married over the weekend and Dave and I were so thankful to have been a part of it!

Jennifer’s Bridal | Raleigh Bridal Portraits

Back in July, I had the pleasure of shooting my dear sweet friend Jennifer’s bridal portrait. Jennifer and I worked together for almost three years and I was so thrilled yesterday when I finally got to see her get married. She has been planning the wedding for the last year and it was so nice to see it all come to fruition! She was a gorgeous bride and it was a joy to see her so happy! Here are a few of her portraits that we took at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. I had the pleasure of assisting Megan Kime at another wedding at the end of October and I am just now getting around to blogging it! A day home with a sick baby and you can start to get caught up on all sorts of work! Jessica and Steven were married at Lu Mil Vineyard in Elizabethtown, NC. They were the sweetest couple with some really fun friends and family! Even though there were a couple of bumps throughout the day, the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch and everyone had a great time!
